"What's with the hype?"

What's with the hype? It's blown way out of proportion. Sure, the movie is entertaining and it might be funnier for viewers that actually played the game but it's not much different from the first part except the animations and drawings have more effort into them.

But 4.68? Come on! I know it's not the authors fault who probably didn't expect this either. But seeing this movie score 0.30 points over Waterlollies is like a big rancid spit in the face to all the other good animators out there. Which isn't very motivating for other authors to submit content here. I just think this needed to be said.

I am exactly like the kid in the transformer video. Why should i feel bad about whats happening to people in conflict zones? Why should events so far away directly affect my quality of life? Why should i waste time trying to help even though i hardly have any capital or political influence in my own country, let alone across the border? Is it because else Megatron will blow up my house and family? Is that the only reason you can come up with?
Of course it is terrible whats happening over there and i am ever grateful that i don't have to live among it. But i am also realistic about how much i can do to stop the murder and rape in some far away war torn country: JACK SHIT!
Sure there are tons of ads about humanitarian aid and military intervention, they make you believe that youre helping soo much by just pouring money into their bank accounts. The truth is that if they ever by some miracle manage to solve the problems, the people that dedicated their lives and careers to helping will lose their purpose and their jobs. Their trick is to help, but not help too much, keep the fire burning, keep the fire visible through media! while tricking as many donators as possible into believing that they can extinguish it.

Entertaining animation however :)

I don't mind waiting another year for this to come out if it will be as good as Castle 3. The plot seems to be a different kind this time than in previous installments. Less charging in and taking a book and more getting owned by the zombies/demons i like that! This seems to be more survival oriented and i'm curious how you will make it turn out.

I wish you lots of fun making the remainder of this installment.

"Incredible strategy game!"

The game is easy to learn, but hard to master. I like how there are only four units, but that you can upgrade them and have their stats hidden to the enemy. There are just so much factors you need to keep in mind when making your moves. This game could rival chess :)

I have one suggestion about the knights blocking. I don't like that they stop blocking after they have been hit from the side. I think they should always block the first frontal attack no matter if the knight has been hit before. I rarely see a block occur in a multiplayer game which makes spending points in a shield a bit of a waste, and it makes the knights main feature kind of dull.

Also, is it possible to skip levels or save the game? i played till level 6 in singleplayer an then IE crashed :(. It would be nice to have a level selection also to play around with different army setups.

I hope you take this into consideration. Thanks for the wonderful game!

Thanks for writing this tutorial. I hope it will be recognised, put in the tutorial page and at least placed on the frontpage. I obviously haven't read all 800 pages, but i did read the things that interested me and it was a good read. The tutorial tackles many subjects and can be useful to a large audience of flash animators. This is also the first time i read about storytelling and introduction techniques in a flash-tut.
If you're a flash animator, there is always something that you can still learn from this!

"Am i missing something?"

When i start any game mode i get a gun with about 20 bullets. Once i have fired those then all i have left is my sword. And i usually die in wave 3 because i can't get near the flamethrowers.
On one occasion ive seen a shotgun drop and with that i made it to wave 6 and then i died because i ran out of ammo again.
It would be nice if you could somehow get more ammo so that you can actually frag something.

I have been waiting for its release since ive seen the trailer a year ago and it was well worth it. The great action, voice acting and cinematic style even made me forget that i was watching a stick movie. The whole bridge scene is my favourite part, its amazing! And the general kicks serious ass. He helps his fellow men and pops the best one-liners while he's at it :)

I wanted to let you know that i got inspired by this piece and i started working on a new CI right after you released part A on NG.

I like how it says: Extreme Nudity, Extreme Violence, Extreme Explicit Audio, Extreme Adult Themes. Thats the stuff that brought NG on the map in the old days :D

Sadly i do not share the same obsessions and got little amusement out of this movie (the grenade thing gave me a chuckle though). Did all of you actually enjoy making this? or was it just group pressure?

"Pseudo 3D in flash games!"

I love seeing pseudo 3D making it in the latest flashgames. Or how i like to call this: Cardboard 3D. The game started off great, smooth controls and fast action, but i was a little disappointed when i discovered that i was stuck in one yard all the time. I loved the character drawings and how you could view them from 8 different sides, it gave me that good old Cannon Fodder feeling.

There are a few problems you probably know already but ill mention them anyway. When i have to hit enemies with my gun i have to aim at their feet (or below their feet). Shooting at the head simply doesnt affect them. Also later in the game, i get a really low framerate. I suspect that too many enemies are spawning in the field. I only have to stay in the upper left corner to kill them one by one, once i found this out it became a bit easy.

All in all this is a great refreshing game to play. I hope to see more games with a similar engine and bigger levels!

Oh, and mr. Ortiz could you reply to my mail? i really need your mad character artwork for brutality :)
