What's with the hype?

What's with the hype? It's blown way out of proportion. Sure, the movie is entertaining and it might be funnier for viewers that actually played the game but it's not much different from the first part except the animations and drawings have more effort into them.

But 4.68? Come on! I know it's not the authors fault who probably didn't expect this either. But seeing this movie score 0.30 points over Waterlollies is like a big rancid spit in the face to all the other good animators out there. Which isn't very motivating for other authors to submit content here. I just think this needed to be said.

My rant on the subject

I am exactly like the kid in the transformer video. Why should i feel bad about whats happening to people in conflict zones? Why should events so far away directly affect my quality of life? Why should i waste time trying to help even though i hardly have any capital or political influence in my own country, let alone across the border? Is it because else Megatron will blow up my house and family? Is that the only reason you can come up with?
Of course it is terrible whats happening over there and i am ever grateful that i don't have to live among it. But i am also realistic about how much i can do to stop the murder and rape in some far away war torn country: JACK SHIT!
Sure there are tons of ads about humanitarian aid and military intervention, they make you believe that youre helping soo much by just pouring money into their bank accounts. The truth is that if they ever by some miracle manage to solve the problems, the people that dedicated their lives and careers to helping will lose their purpose and their jobs. Their trick is to help, but not help too much, keep the fire burning, keep the fire visible through media! while tricking as many donators as possible into believing that they can extinguish it.

Entertaining animation however :)

As you mentioned, I made that part for people with similar views at yours. Actually, you recognized that it's terrible. The message of the Transformers one was not to show apathy to genocide just because it's not happening to/near you. If enough people were pissed off about Darfur, and urged the President/other countries to assess the situation, something might be done.

Bush was easily allowed to go into the Middle East because of 9/11, and practically the entire country was behind him. Obviously, it is unfair and just outright ridiculous to expect the country, or anybody, to be mores pissed off at the Darfur genocide than 9/11. But whether it is just spreading awareness or donating, or just showing an understanding of conflict, it's better than being apathetic.

The point of Megatron destroying the house (and family haha) was to say "Megatron just killed this boy's house. It doesn't affect him, so why does it matter? Why does anything matter if it doesn't affect you". I compared the people who just don't care to Megatron, basically haha. The mindset of "if it doesn't affect you, why care at all" just doesn't seem healthy to human development in my opinion.

You have some mad talent. I loved the drawings of the uberkid when he was angry. He just looks so painfully furious. Also the character design is amazing. I envy your skills :)

[Castle Repercussion - TSR]

Looking forward to it

I don't mind waiting another year for this to come out if it will be as good as Castle 3. The plot seems to be a different kind this time than in previous installments. Less charging in and taking a book and more getting owned by the zombies/demons i like that! This seems to be more survival oriented and i'm curious how you will make it turn out.

I wish you lots of fun making the remainder of this installment.

[Castle III part D]

Congrats on the big one!

I have been waiting for its release since ive seen the trailer a year ago and it was well worth it. The great action, voice acting and cinematic style even made me forget that i was watching a stick movie. The whole bridge scene is my favourite part, its amazing! And the general kicks serious ass. He helps his fellow men and pops the best one-liners while he's at it :)

I wanted to let you know that i got inspired by this piece and i started working on a new CI right after you released part A on NG.

[Stick Slayer Episode VIII]

Ah Yeah! Stickslayer is back

Some key elements in stickslayer movies that i always love are:
-Battles of epic propotions
-Huge explosion
-lots of sticks dying in many different ways
-and really poor jokes in the one liners (which is true to the stickslayers character)
And this episode is full of them! amazing work

Hilarious!

I like how the larger part of the movie is a long build up that makes you expect a climactic battle between the cats, but the only thing you see is the lamest fight you can imagine rolling across all previous backgrounds that were first used for the serious scenes. Genious!

How this became so popular goes beyond me

Anyone who has been on NG for a while can clearly tell where this idea came from, that sums up your score for style.
The animation was well done, but then again, bunnies without any limbs arent very hard to do.
I liked the song (it has PSY!) but it is ruined by all the repetitive sound effects. I hope your next flash will have a better concept than sword wielding bunnies killing eachother for no particular reason.
You should celebrate your success instead of downgrading my movie with an uninspired review

[Hyperboy: Episode 1]

I like this series

In some strange way, this was more fun to watch than college university or other top comedy flash series. It has something special of which i can't really tell what it is. Well done jokes, i like this type of humor
I hope you continue making these.
